Full biography
Peter is a keen astrophotographer, writer and reviewer for BBC Sky at Night Magazine.
He was shortlisted in the Royal Observatory Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2017 and 2018, as well as being featured on NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD).
Peter was also guest lecturer at the International Astronomy Show 2018, 2019 and 2022.
Peter was one of the Lecturers at the Advanced Imaging Conference 2023 in San Jose California.
He is a Tutor and Ambassador for Telescope Live and uses their remote facilities in Chile, Spain and Australia.
His images have been widely published in "Astronomy Now" and "BBC Sky at Night Magazine" in the UK and in "Sky and Telescope" and "Astronomy" Magazines in the US.
