Retired physicist, C J Hardwick MA(Cantab) PhD CPhys MInstP. Joined to get access to speakers as I organize lectures for Chesterfield Astronomical Society.

Full biography

Graduated 1972 Cambridge (Caius) in Natural Sciences, postgrad at Liverpool in High Energy Physics at the 5GeV synchrotron Nina at Daresbury Lab. Subsequently Research Associate at Rutherford Lab and NIKHEF Amsterdam working on experiments WA3 and NA11 at the west and north areas of the SPS at CERN. Returned to UK in 1983 to work at Culham Lab on the lightning protection of aircraft.
