Full biography
I founded Space Detectives over 10 years ago, which is a UK based business with the aim of bringing Space Science, Exploration and Astronomy to the wider public. I work not only in schools with children but also with adults, using both a mix of hands-on workshops and highly interactive presentations covering a range of different space and astronomy topics.
In addition to this, Space Detectives runs many stargazing events for a variety of different organisations ranging from Exmoor National Park Dark Sky Reserve, The National Trust, Cranborne Chase AONB and the Poltimore Inn Observatory.
I also work on contract for ESERO-UK (European Space Education Resource Office) which is funded by ESA and the UK Space Agency amongst other national partners. In that, I have been involved in high profile space education projects such as the Tim Peake Primary Project, Mission X and ENTHUSE Partnership Spaceport Cornwall.
I live at home with my Astrophotographer/Telescope Maker husband Pete, our two grown up sons and a cat called Herschel in Somerset.
