Full biography
Introduced to watching the night sky by "I Spy the Sky" as a child. Joined the Junior Astronomical Society aged 12, Liverpool AS aged 14. Acted as Hon Treasurer for Liverpool AS from 1976-1978.
Moved to Lincoln in 1978 and became a committee soon after and currently their Secretary.
Became a member of the BAA as a teenager and contributed observations to the meteor and variable star sections. Membership lapsed when family commitments took over and rejoined in 2013. Hon Treasurer from October 2022 to date.
Founded Astro Speakers in 2015 with Glyn de Lacy.
Main activity in astronomy is photography of deep sky objects from the roll-off roof observatory in our garden.
