Full biography
I am a retired video editor in the broadcast industry.
In the 1990s, I became a major contributor to the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal (ALSJ). As part of this effort, I scanned NASA history books for the NASA History Office and in 1997, received a Public Service Award for this work.
I created a companion website to the ALSJ, the Apollo Flight Journal (AFJ). This consists of corrected and annotated transcripts of the flight portions of the Apollo missions. Both journals were hosted by NASA since 1998 and recently, they gained their own home at apollojournals.org.
I have written two books; "How Apollo Flew to the Moon" for Springer, a comprehensive yet accessible guide to how the Apollo missions worked, and "Saturn V Owners' Workshop Manual" for Haynes Publishing which is a detailed description of the iconic Moon rocket. I have co-written two further Haynes Owners' Workshop Manuals, on the Lunar Rover and the Gemini spacecraft.
