Full biography
Hello there - I've been interested in space and astronomy most of my life but started astrophotography around 2012. In 2022 I was also given the opportunity to utilise the skills I have in my role as an elearning creator as a public speaker about astronomy. I have been invited to multiple schools ranging from 9-10 Year old up to University level.
I have also spoken to multiple adult groups. Astronomy can be a difficult subject to grasp or make interesting for some, therefore I design my talks to be inclusive of all and use my eLearning training to turn something people think they cannot understand into something they can.
This sort of teaching is a real passion of mine as no one should be excluded from understanding a subject because of barriers - perceived or otherwise.
Stargazing sessions
Ms Claire Bradshaw can host stargazing sessions including guided tours of the night skies and observing using telescopes or binoculars.

Lectures
From Sky to Screen - Astrophotography 101
I have given this presentation several times to a variety of audiences from school children to adult groups. I cover the basics of the Universe from galaxies to stars through images I have taken and then the process of how I capture and create those images.
Life, Death + Stars
This lecture concentrates on the birth of our Sun from a patch of inconsequential nebula to the driving mechanics behind it to finally how stars of certain solar masses die along with their unique connection with the audience.
Mars the Red Planet
I was invited to give a 40 minutes talk to a class of 11 12 yr olds about the planet Mars for their science topic about the red planet.
Space and Everything in It
I've given this lecture multiple times to children, talking at a very high level about space, astronomy, galaxies, nebulae, stars and planets.
